The 2N BRI Lite is a GSM Gateway device supporting a single ISDN BRI interface, and provides the opportunity for small to medium sized organisations to significantly reduce the cost of calls to GSM networks. All calls between a PBX and mobile network are routed through this gateway, and expensive calls to GSM networks over PSTN are avoided. With powerful LCR (Least Cost Router) embedded in the gateway, the cheapest route is always select for any call. The BRI Lite gateway is an ideal solution for a PBX with a dedicated BRI interface for GSM gateway. Alternatively, the gateway may be installed on an existing BRI trunk without the need of additional BRI interface on the PBX. The 2N ISDN GSM Gateway (GSM router) connected to a PBX ISDN port (BRI, So) transmits GSM services to ISDN user terminals. In addition to cost-efficient calls, it provides the following services: calling line identification presentation (CLIP), connection status displaying, advice of charging (AOC), SMS send/receive using the ISDN telephone set, and billing data recording. All called numbers, including connection date and time, are recorded in the Gateway buffer. Outgoing calls are checked by the call barring table, which disables expensive calls.
