Industrial 5.8GHz Outdoor Wireless Bridge for Backhaul useThe Falcon series FWO-710 is a 5.8 GHz IEEE 802.11a compliant Wireless Outdoor Bridge available for Industrial Ethernet applications.
With it's IP68 rated case and wide operating temperature support the FWO-710 is ideal for outdoor wireless applications. The access point operates in two different modes, Point to Point Bridging and Point to Multipoint for bridging two networks together over a wireless link. The FWO-710 supports turbo A mode with supported speeds up to 108Mbps.
The FWO-710 comes with an N-TYPE Male connection for external antennas, allowing high gain antennas to be installed with the access point to achieve long haul bridging solutions. The access point also supports POE allowing a single Ethernet cable to be run to the device for both power and data connection. The access point comes supplied with a 48VDC POE injector for ease of installation.
With support for the common security functions such as WEP 64/128/152 your wireless network will be secure from unauthorised personnel.
