HCS-41-2 - 4 port 32-bit PCI RS-485 Multiport Serial Card.The HCS-41-2 PC COM adapter provides four asynchronous serial communications RS-485 ports for connection with standard serial peripheral devices such as terminals, modems, serial printers, plotters etc. The card is supplied with a 4-way DB-9 cable.
Serial Baud Rates up to 115200 for normal speed and up to 460k for high speed.
PnP features allow hardware configuration for IRQ and I/O address to be detected by the BIOS automatically. No switch or jumper settings are required.
To enable use of standard COM1 and COM2, the PCCOM PCI bus 8 port adapter can be configured from COM4 upwards. The On board
PLX9054 chip provides Integration of four 16550 Uarts, each contain a 16 byte FIFO buffer. The cards can operate in two modes, normal speed mode with baud rates up to 115200, and high speed mode with baud rates up to 460K.
RS-422 Information: Provides Both Transmit / Receive balanced pairs, Receive + (input), Receive - (input), Transmit + (output), Transmit - (output), And Earth
Two DB-9 (male) Serial Ports are supported directly on the card.
