1000Base-T to Gigabit Fibre Multimode (SC) Converter module. 220/550mThe MGCR range of media converter modules are designed to convert 1000Base-T copper to 1000Base-SX/LX/LH/ZX fibre.
The media converter is designed to be housed inside the MCR12 range of Managed media converter chassis's. With a built in SNMP agent, web based management and CLI the adminstrator can configure and monitor up to 12 media converter modules from a single location.
With OAM functionality monitoring, remote failure indication and loopback testing can be performed to the remote devices connected to these media converters via the TS-1000 mechanism. This allows the administrator to have complete control of both the local media converters and also the devices that are connected at the remote end points. (Please note the remote device must also support OAM.)
