24 Port Fast Ethernet SwitchAlloy's NS-xxTV2 range of 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet Switches are designed to meet IEEE 802.3, 802.3u and 802.3x specifications.
They are a cost-effective solution for easing network congestion and enhancing network performance. Network transmission speed and overall performance is significantly improved; this optimisation of network efficiency accommodates today's high-bandwidth applications (for example: imaging, multimedia, CAD/CAM etc), and provides a high-performance platform for your network infrastructure into the future.
Store-and-forward switching technology ensures low latency and eliminates data fragments and corrupted packets. In full-duplex mode, transmission and reception of packets can occur simultaneously without causing collisions, supporting transmission speeds of 200Mbps whilst concurrent read/write operations are taking place. This can double the network throughput.
The Nway functionality of the NS-xxTV2 switch can auto-detect half or full-duplex transmission mode, and 10Mbps or 100Mbps speeds. Each port will also auto detect MDI/MDIX cable connections allowing any port to be connected either as a Workstation port or an Uplink port to another switch.
A comprehensive LED suite provides status information, including Link/Activity, 100Mbps and Full-Duplex LEDs. In addition, 19 inch rack-mount brackets are supplied with the product.
