SK-9843-V2SRV Class 64-Bit/66Mhz 1000Base-SX (SC) Managed Fibre Optic Adapter. SysKonnect's SK-9843 version 2, 1000Base-SX (SC) Managed Fibre Optic, Gigabit Ethernet Server Adapter delivers on the promise of Gigabit throughput, Gigabit performance and Gigabit reliability for high-end servers.
Optimized to support both 64bit/66MHz PCI and 32bit/33MHz PCI bus based systems, this adapter has been developed around SysKonnect's own highly advanced PCI bus ASIC. This state of the art ASIC enables the SK-9843 version 2 adapter to support true 64-bit wide throughput between the Gigabit Ethernet MAC interface, and the PCI bus, ensuring complete compatibility and maximum performance, while reducing CPU utilization. This means Gigabit data rates through the adapter, the PCI bus, and more CPU cycles available for your applications.
Supporting the 64bit/66MHz PCI bus bandwidth specification of 533MBps (MBps=Million Bytes - not Bits as in Mbps), four times higher than conventional 32-bit systems, the full-duplex SK-9843 version 2 will not be the bottleneck in your server bus. In addition the adapter allows 64-bit addressing in a single cycle to address more than 4 GB of RAM - almost a necessity for many of today's high-end server applications. Compatibility for 32-bit systems is ensured through dual address cycle mode in all SK-NET GE adapters.

Note: All Syskonnect Gigabit Ethernet adapters support both Link Aggregation and Port Aggregation (not simultaneously) on Window 2000 & Windows XP.
