The Firmware you select for the ESM series Switch is dependant on the product Serial number.
2 Hardware versions have been released. Please select the appropriate directory based on the following:

For Serial numbers between:
XP350000000 and XP399999999
Please use the SerialNumbers_XP3_series directory

Note: A ESM (XP3 series) switch updated with the wrong firmware will report a "Data Abort error" on startup. This can only be repaired by Alloy Service Department, and will be subject to a Service Charge. (NOT Covered under Warranty)


For Serial numbers above:
XP400000000
ALY00000000
Please use the SerialNumbers_XP4_and_ALY_series directory


Please Note: Depending on the version of Firmware being upgraded, after a firmware load, the switch may default back to a 0.0.0.0 IP address.
If this occurs, then you will need to use a serial cable connection to reset the IP address.
