Description

The XRS12 provides switching to connect the PSTN circuits of an MX250 to a redundant standby MX250 system. If an 'active' MX250 fails, the XRS12 automatically switches the PSTN trunk connections to the standby MX250. Requires a 90-20003 power supply.

To support redundant configurations, Zultys provides the optional XRS12, a relay switch that mounts in a 19" rack along with the enterprise's MX system. The XRS12 occupies only 1RU of rack space. The XRS12 provides the switching mechanism to connect the PSTN circuits of each MX250 in an MXcluster of appliances to a redundant standby MX250 system. In this configuration, if an individual MX250 in the MXcluster fails, the XRS12 automatically switches the PSTN trunk connections from the failed 'active' MX250 to the standby MX250. Using the XRS12, an MXcluster retains full connectivity to the PSTN after a switch-over without intervention from the administrator.

  • The XRS12 Relay Switch is supplied without a power supply - purchse the XRS12 AC Power Supply (90-20003) separately
  • An MXcluster of redundant MX250 appliances requires a Redundancy Licence (90-15350)
  • View the MX250 IP-PBX product page for information, features and specifications
