VidyoRouter™ Virtual Edition (VE) provides HD multipoint telepresence scalability on demand to VMware virtualised datacentre server systems and cloud computing resources. VidyoRouter VE is the only solution to virtualise the media plane and deliver video conferencing capabilities with incredible efficiency and reach. Vidyorouter VE is deployed easily as a software licence on to your existing Vidyo infrastructure. It takes full advantage of VMware multiple hypervisor options. With VidyoRouter Virtual Edition you can spin up VE instances on demand, with the flexibility to choose private, public and hybrid clouds.
Vidyorouter VE gives highly affordable scalability. Performance capacities can be upgraded in the field in minutes, with the simple addition of a Pay-As-You-Grow VidyoLine license. Each license provides a single VidyoRouter Virtual Edition instance supporting up to 100 concurrent HD connections for VMWare environments. Licences may be used on different servers at different times as long as they are associated with the same VidyoPortal, but the total number of concurrent instances of VidyoRouter VE may not exceed the total number of VidyoRouter VE licences purchased at any given point in time. Server hardware, hypervisor and related virtualisation software are not included with the VE licence.
