A CopperLink 2151 Series Ethernet Extender Kit offers an efficient and cost effective solution for long range 15Mbps connections to peered 10/100Base-TX Ethernet LANs. The 2151/E-SKD is a replacement Local Extender Device.

The 2151/E-SKD is the Local CopperLink 2151 Extender, and can be used paired with a 2151 Remote Extender, or to replace a Local Extender from a 2151-2PK Copperlink 2151 Series Extender Kit.

2151 Extenders are supplied as a kit, comprising local and remote devices. Their compact size and connection options make installation easy. The dual 10/100Base-T Ethernet ports are equipped with shielded RJ-45 jacks for connection to an Ethernet hub/switch, PC, or network-enabled device. The CopperLink Line port is equipped with an RJ-45 jack for easy connection to the CopperLink Extenders. For convenient installation, 2151 devices auto-sense and configure for 10Base-T or 100Base-TX as well as full or half-duplex operation. Both local and remote 2151 Extender devices are available for purchase separately.

CopperLink applications include Ethernet extension, medical imaging, video-conferencing, and inter-connecting remote devices or remote networks to a central LAN. The multi-rate symmetrical line rates ensure the highest possible data rate is achieved over various lengths and types of copper wire and environments. Multi-rate asymmetrical line rates make the Model 2151 the ideal solution for service providers who want to differentiate their services or extend the reach of their customer base.
