The ECS4310-18T is a Layer 2/4 Websmart Gigabit Ethernet switch which supports SFP modules for fibre optic network uplinks. In addition to powerful management features, these switches feature an energy efficient design that lowers operating costs.

The Edge-Core ECS4310-18T is a web-managed ("Websmart") Layer2/4 Gigabit Ethernet switch which provides 16 auto-sensing 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit ports plus dual combo Gigabit RJ-45/SFP port arrays. The SFP slots on the switch support all types of Gigabit mini-GBIC modules - 1000Base-T copper UTP as well as multimode, singlemode and WDM network connectivity over fibre optic cable.

The flexible, easy-to-use web-based management interface enables fast, intuitive configuration of the switches management features and port settings, including enhanced security based on MAC address, IGMP snooping, Layer4 grade QoS with 8 egress queues, 802.3ad LACP link aggregation and VLANs - features that increase throughput and flexibility. Security is more important in next generation networks so this switch has added security features to protect your network. SNMP v1 and v2c error trapping support is also included.
