The Edge-Core ECS4610-24F is a layer 3 Gigabit Ethernet routing switch. With 24 SFP slots and 2 RJ-45 port arrays, this is an ideal solution for Service Provider aggregation layer applications for converged voice, data and video traffic.
Providing a high performance non-blocking switching solution, the Edge-Core ECS4610-24F is a layer 3 Gigabit Ethernet routing switch, supporting high densities network connections over fibre optic cable, via the unit's 24 SFP slots and 2 Gigabit 10/100/1000Mbps RJ-45 ports. The switches SFP ports support all types of Gigabit mini-GBIC modules - 1000Base-T copper UTP as well as multimode, singlemode and WDM network connectivity over fibre optic cable.The ECS4610-24F offers IPv4 and IPv6 Layer 3 hardware-based routing for maximum performance. Advanced Layer 3 and Layer 2 management features can be accessed via an HTTP interface, CLI, or SNMP. Comprehensive Quality of Service and enhanced security functions are supported.
