Edge-Core's ECS4810-28T is a stackable Gigabit Ethernet L2 switch with 24x 1000Base-T ports 4x Gigabit RJ-45/SFP port arrays. Up to 16 units can be utilising the port arrays.

Edge-Core's ECS4810-28TS is a 28 port Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2/4 managed switch. Providing high performance, resilient software controlled stacking, wire speed Layer 2 switching, comprehensive Layer 4 QoS functions and advanced security features, this a fully-managed switch that supports power saving with an operating temperature range of -20°C to 65°C.

The ECS4810-28TS is a high performance switch capable of 56Gbps network throughput. 24x 1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports are provided, plus four Gigabit copper RJ-45/fibre SFP port arrays. With software configuration, the combo port arrays can be aggregated to provide a resilient stacking capability for up to 16 units with a 4Gbps stacking backplane, whith all switches in the stack manageable through a single IP address. The bi-directional stack connections seek the best, shortest path between switches and provide 4Gbps of backplane bandwidth. The stacking mechanism recover time is less than 9 seconds, while master failover time is only 2 seconds.

The ECS4810-28TS offers comprehensive Layer 2 and Layer Quality of Service management features accessed via a user-friendly web interface, command line interface (CLI - for advanced users) or SNMP-based management. The switch supports IPv6 management functions for SNMP, Telnet, and TFTP.
