The EDX2000HA, an Eaton E Series DX Online UPS, protects critical applications from downtime and data loss via a double-conversion architecture that completely isolates output power from input anomalies. This 2kVA rated UPS has 6x IEC power outlets.

Eaton's EDX2000HA is a True Online UPS with high-frequency double-conversion architecture incorporating rectifier and inverter stages that completely isolate output power from all input power anomalies. The UPS has a wide input voltage range (120V right up to 300 volts) appropriate for the harshest electrical environments, and is optimised for compatibility with generators. This affordable online UPS is housed in a robust tower case, delivers perfect sine wave output and guarantees a consistently high level of power quality. In the event of an overload or UPS fault, the UPS automatically transfers the load to utility AC power. The EDX2000HA has an battery capacity of 2kVA/1.4kW and six IEC 10amp power output sockets - capable of supporting connected devices for up to 31 minutes at 50% load.

The EDX2000HA is a model from Eaton's E Series DX Online UPS Series. Single phase models in the series offer up to 10kVA/7kW battery capacity. 6kVA and higher models can be run in parallel for increased capacity and N+X redundancy, with only an optional Parallel Cable required. The following features are supported in addition to those mentioned above: Cold start-on battery power supports portable power applications; a high performance battery charger reduces recharge time and prevents disturbances and faults on the distribution system by correcting the power factor and not propagating faults on the distribution system through back-feed protection; Input/output jacks for telephone, modem, internet dataline surge protection; intuitive front-panel user interface and audible alarms provide status indication for general fault, battery, inverter, bypass and load/battery-charging levels; an RS-232 port is provided for connection of any E Series DX UPS to a server for local monitoring; Eaton's WINpower power management software is supplied with the UPS, and can be used to alert users of a power event or pre-specified condition, automatically shut down servers and remotely supervise and control UPS solutions. Finally An optional Web/SNMP or AS400 Relay network administration EDX 1 Phase Card can be installed in a rear panel slot.
