The EM3526V-1GTGB is a Network Module with dual paired Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 and SFP ports. The module can be optionally installed in one or both of the Expansion Slots on the ES3528 and ES3528-WDM Metro Access switches.
Installing one or two EM3526V-1GTGB Network Modules into the Expansion Slots of either the ES3528 or ES3528-WDM Metro Access switches expands the number of available Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports.The SFP slots on the module support all types of Gigabit mini-GBIC modules - 1000Base-T copper UTP as well as multimode, singlemode and WDM network connectivity over fibre optic cable - enabling copper or fibre uplinks.
