The EM470048GX is a Network Module Card for use with Edge-Core ES4710BD and ES4704BD Chassis Switches. It provides high density network connectivity viaSFP slots mounted on the card. The card is a hot swappable device, and can be removed from the chassis without powering down the switch.Gigabit network connectivity is supported over multimode or singlemode fibre optic cable via these network ports mounted on the card; 48x SFP slots; multimode or singlemode fibre Gigabit mini-GBIC Transceiver Modules are installed in these SFP slots to achieve the required number of network port types.
