Edge-Core's ES3510MA-DC is a L2/4 managed Fast Ethernet Desktop Switch with 8x 10/100Mbps ports and dual paired Gigabit Ethernet combo RJ-45/SFP port arrays. The DC power input makes the switch ideal for use in industrial and carrier environments.

The Edge-Core ES3510MA-DC is a Layer 2/4 managed Fast Ethernet "Silent" switch, with 8x 100Base-TX RJ-45 copper ports and dual combo Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45/SFP port arrays for 1000Mbps network uplinks over copper UTP or fibre cable. The SFP slots on the switch support all types of Gigabit Ethernet and Fast Ethernet mini-GBIC modules (100Base-BX and 1000Base-SX/LX/ZX) to support multimode, singlemode and WDM network connectivity over fibre optic cable. The switch is powered via a 36 to 75 VDC DC power input.

With 5.6Gbps switching capacity, the ES3510MA delivers wirespeed switching performance on all ports. The fanless design makes the switch an ideal for deployment in environments where background equipment noise must be kept to a minimum.

The ES3510MA-DC provides comprehensive Layer 2/4 management features, accesses via an easy to use web-based GUI, CLI via console port or Telnet, or SNMP. Comprehensive management features include standard and rapid Spanning Tree Protocol support, 802.1q VLAN, 802.3ad LACP and Trunk Groups. These features are complemented by QoS (Quality of Service) and security functions.

The switch supports IP Clustering; a virtual stack of up to 36 switches can be centrally nmanaged as a single entity with a single IP address.
