The M68560AL, an Eaton Ellipse MAX Series Line Interactive UPS, gives advanced power protection to workstations, small servers and office equipment. This 1.5kVA rated UPS with AVR has 8 IEC outlets; 4 for battery backup, and all 8 surge protected.

Eaton's M68560AL Line Interactive UPS provides effective power protection, even in disturbed electrical environments. Fluctuations in voltage are automatically corrected by the unit's Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) booster/fader device, which stabilises fluctuating power sources and preserves battery life. Connected equipment is also protected by a high performance, IEC 616431 standard compliant, integrated surge protection device. The M68560AL has eight surge protected IEC style power output sockets, four of which can be used for battery backup to keep equipment operating during a power failure or periods of sub-standard power supply. All eight power outputs provide surge protection. In addition, a combo In/Out RJ-45 port array provides 'back door' surge protection for broadband modems, phones lines and Fast Ethernet network datalines. With a battery capacity of 1.5kVA/900W, the M68560AL UPS will support connected devices such as computers for up to 12 minutes with a 50% load factor.

The M68560AL is a model from Eaton's Ellipse MAX Series of Modified Sinewave Line Interactive UPS. Models in the series offer up to 1.5kVA/900W battery capacity, and use sealed, maintenance free lead-acid batteries. In addition to the features mentioned above, all models in the range have a combo USB/Serial communications port. Power management/Auto-Shutdown software is supplied with all models, providing comprehensive power management functions and the ability to automatically close computer applications in the event of a power outage. Audible alarms and a LED indicator provide notification of a battery that is nearing end of life and needing replacement. Ellipse MAX models can be deployed as a tower UPS, in desktop mode under a computer monitor, or (with an optional Rack Kit) in a network rack cabinet.
