Description

The MSPS1 100-240V AC Power Supply Module is used as a single or dual redundant power supply for Alloy MS888G2 Series Switches and MCR12 Series Media Converter Chassis. This 'Hot Swap' Power Module is field or user upgradable with no system downtime.

The MSPS1 is a 100-240V AC auto-ranging Power Supply Module, which is installed in either of two power supply bays in the rear panel of any Alloy MS888G2 Series Modular Switch or MCR12 Series Managed Media Converter Chassis system.

One MSPS1 Power Module can be installed as a single power source for the switch. Installing two Power Supply Modules provides dual power redundancy with auto-failover capability to the standby module.

If a DC Power Supply is required for an MS888G2 Series switch or MCR12 Series Media Converter Chassis, the MSPS2 48V DC Power Module can be used, either as a single power source, as a dual redundant DC power supply, or with an MSPS1, to support dual redundant AC and DC power supply.

The MSPS1 is field or user upgradable, or can be purchased pre-installed in a MS888G2 switch or MCR12 Chassis. The MSPS1 Power Module is a 'hot swappable' device, allowing field installation of the component without system downtine when dual power supplies are present.
